HOTMA’s Impact on Housing Programs

- Changes that impact HUD, LIHTC & RD

February 13, 2024 at 1:30pm - 5pm EST

Comprehensive training on the upcoming changes resulting from HOTMA impacting affordable housing compliance.

Prepare for the Changes to LIHTC, HOME, NHTF, and RD programs

The changes to eligibility determination are part of the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA) come from reforms to Public Housing and Multifamily HUD. However, many other housing programs rely on HUD’s procedures to guide their own. As a result, programs like LIHTC, USDA, and HUD CPD Programs such as HOME and Housing Trust  Fund  are significantly impacted by HOTMA.

This 3.5-hour webinar focuses on implementing HOTMA changes for the above-listed  programs. Our trainers will discuss the areas of income and asset verification and calculation that have changed as part of HOTMA. This includes new rules regarding assets.
