ACE Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Compliance is a three-day virtual course designed to help affordable housing professionals confidently navigate the complexities of LIHTC project compliance.
This interactive course takes a deep dive into the laws and regulations governing the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program. Through detailed explanations, real-world scenarios, and practical exercises, participants will gain a solid understanding of how to maintain compliance and why it is vital for project success.
Monitoring overall project compliance is one of the most intricate aspects of LIHTC administration. Our trainer will break down challenging topics such as annual credit calculations, income and rent limit determinations, and compliance with minimum set-asides and deep targeting. The training also covers essential standards for household eligibility and critical reporting requirements to ensure ongoing adherence to IRS guidelines.
Participants will have the opportunity to take the US Housing Consultants’ LIHTC Accredited Compliance Expert (ACE) Exam. This certification recognizes affordable housing professionals who demonstrate an in-depth understanding of LIHTC compliance — including household eligibility, rent calculations, project development, and overall program requirements.
Professionals holding this designation have a demonstrable and thorough understanding of determining household eligibility, rent, how the project was developed, and much more for the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program.
